About Hannah

I'm a Brooklyn-based illustrator, designer, and mom with a lifelong interest in making pretty things.

I first launched Bonomo Paper Co. in 2015. Still riding the high from my own wedding, BPC began as a bespoke stationery business specializing in custom invitations and paper goods. After a decade in the wedding world, three babies (including one heartbreaking loss), and a few creative detours, I've found my way back to the simple joy of painting.

Today, my work is inspired by the fleeting moments of childhood, parenthood, and everyday life. The kind of moments you can feel clearly throughout your entire body, even when the details have grown fuzzy in your mind's eye. I love finding beauty and humor in the mundane, and believe a silly pose is every bit as deserving of a frame as a formal portrait.

When I'm not painting, I'm chasing my kids around Brooklyn, collecting inspiration, or playing mahjong.
